VH1’s Save the Music

The Goal
To bolster public awareness and participation in VH1’s award-winning Save the Music cause initiative.

The Execution
Marlin was responsible for generating school participation, concept sell-in, and for launching the campaign utilizing creative sell-in materials, various turn-key marketing programs, and sponsorships.
VH1’s Save the Music was designed to raise funds for music education in public schools and national awareness about the crucial role music plays in educating our country’s children. Former President Clinton, Colin Powell, and former New York City Mayor Rudolph Guiliani, among others, endorsed Save the Music.

Results Recap
The program has received a special Emmy, a Peabody Award, and the top annual award from the Cable Television Public Affairs Association.
