The
Goal
ECONnergy Energy Company, the largest alternate energy company
in New York State, turned to Marlin to develop a promotion
to raise consumer awareness and drive customer acquisition.
The Execution
Recognizing the relationship between energy costs and the
winter season, Marlin produced a sweepstakes offering consumers
a chance to win $100,000 if they could guess both the high
and low temperature on Groundhog’s Day. Marlin was
responsible for all contest development and creative for
direct mail and newspaper FSIs.
Results Recap
The contest secured new customers for ECONnergy and enhanced
brand awareness.
